The Challenge
A major property management company in the United States needed a passwordless network security solution that could ensure continuous trust across multiple office locations. Cyberattacks can expose company financial information, or even residents’ personal data, making securing their network a strong priority.
With offices spread across more than 20 states, the client needed a networking solution that wouldn’t require any on-prem hardware or site-by-site configuration. Thousands of employees required network access, and the client also wanted to phase out manual provisioning to save IT time and headaches. They required modern authentication that could withstand even sophisticated intrusion attempts, ideally without the need for passwords.
The Solution
The company selected SecureW2 for a cloud-native certificate delivery platform that could cover distributed properties with a single solution. Now, the JoinNow Platform provides both Cloud PKI for certificate issuance and Cloud RADIUS for authentication, eliminating the need for on-premise RADIUS servers at every location.
The initial deployment allowed the IT team to onboard managed devices and support self-service enrollment from the start. Each device received a unique digital certificate for network authentication, replacing shared credentials across office locations.
The client continued to grow their utilization of the SecureW2 platform, bringing additional devices onboard a few years later through the same seamless self-service enrollment framework. SecureW2 provides certificate infrastructure, Cloud RADIUS capabilities and full 802.1X authentication for every device. With the SecureW2 platform, the client is able to ensure device posture and compliance in real time, and manage and revoke certificates as needed, providing dynamic authentication with a single platform.
